# Definindo Taxas de Depreciação

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">As taxas de depreciação, tanto para o [indexador nacional](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/at/page/cadastrando-indexadores) como para a [moeda estrangeira,](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/at/page/calculo-de-indexadores-em-moeda-estrangeira) devem ser indicadas em campo próprio no cadastramento das [Contas Contábeis](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/cb/page/criando-um-plano-de-contas), através da opção Manutenção/Tabelas/Contas Contábeis. </span>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Desta forma, ao cadastrar um determinado bem e associá-lo à [Conta Contábil ](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/at/page/cadastrando-contas-contabeis)o sistema automaticamente atribuirá à ele as [Taxas de Depreciação](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/at/page/definindo-taxas-de-depreciacao) definidas para a [Conta,](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/cb/page/criando-um-plano-de-contas) porém estas poderão ser modificadas para o [bem](https://autoatendimento.grupoallegus.com.br/books/at/page/cadastrando-bens) específico e o sistema fará os cálculos baseando-se nestas novas porcentagens.</span>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Exemplificando, vamos considerar que um determinado Veículo foi adquirido pela empresa AAA em 01/01/1998, e que este inicialmente foi depreciado à taxa de 20% ao ano. </span>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Vamos considerar, também, que no ano de 1999 esta depreciação foi acelerada para 40% ao ano e que no ano seguinte esta retornou ao percentual normal. </span>
